Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Cook the potato slices with salt in 8-10 minutes until al dente. Well the apricots.

Bring the sauerkraut to the boil, drain and drain. Drain the potatoes and steam them dry.

Spread a layer of potatoes over the baking dish. Divide the sauerkraut, apricots and chicken strips over it and finish with another layer of potatoes.

Pour this cheese sauce over the oven dish and sprinkle with the walnuts and the rest of the cheese.

Bake the sauerkraut dish in the middle of the oven for 12-15 minutes until the dish is golden brown.
