Sauerkraut dish with juicy pork chop and apple


Fried pork chops with sauerkraut, apple and bacon.

Directions

  1. Put the sauerkraut in a colander, rinse briefly under cold running water and let it drain. Cut the onions.
  2. Cut the unpeeled apples into quarters, remove the cores and slice the flesh into slices.
  3. Heat a skillet without oil or butter and fry the onion, bacon and vadouvan for 2 minutes on a high heat.
  4. Add the sauerkraut and mashed potatoes and heat with the lid on the pan for 8 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Change regularly. Season with pepper and salt.
  6. Meanwhile, heat the oil with the rest of the vadouvan in a frying pan and fry the pork chops over medium heat in 10 min. Brown and done.
  7. Turn halfway. Add the apple slices for the last 3 minutes.
  8. Spread the sauerkraut mixture over the plates and serve with the pork chop and apple.
