Sauerkraut salad with mango and avocado
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: sauerkraut (natural (500 g)), red pepper, apple (freshly sweet (eg jonagold)), extra virgin olive oil, mango (peeled and pit removed), avocado (peeled and pit removed) and limes (extruded).

Put the sauerkraut in a sieve, remove with a fork and rinse under the cold tap. Drain. Press out the excess moisture.

Cut the stalk of the pepper. Halve the pepper in the length and remove the seed lists with a sharp knife. Cut the pepper into very thin strips.

Grate the unpeeled apple over a bowl. Mix with the sauerkraut and oil and season with salt and pepper. Divide the salad over a dish. Cut the mango into pieces and the avocado slices in length. Divide both over the salad. Season with lime juice and sprinkle with the red pepper. Allow the salad to cool in the refrigerator in about 30 minutes. Serve with, for example, giant shrimps with chili and feta and baguette for a complete meal.
