Savory poffertjes with celeriac
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: celeriac (peeled and diced), crumbly potatoes (peeled and diced), egg (beaten), self-raising flour (sifted) and butter.

Boil the celeriac and potato cubes for 15 minutes in little salt water.

Drain and crush with the puree rammer.

Stir the egg through the puree.

Add the flour, pepper and salt and stir to a smooth mass.

Heat one quarter of the butter in a large frying pan with a non-stick coating and put in 8 generous portions of puree.

Press the mounds a little flat.

Fry for 2 min.

Per side over medium heat until golden brown and done.

Repeat until the puree is empty.

Keep the small pancakes warm under a lid on a hot plate..
