Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 ° C.
  2. Grease the mold with some butter.
  3. Roast the sesame seeds in the frying pan.
  4. Cut the butter into small cubes.
  5. Beat the butter and milk smooth with a mixer in 5 min.
  6. Add the caster sugar and mix for another 3 minutes.
  7. Beat the eggs one by one. Only add a following egg if the previous one is included. Do not mix too long, so that the mixture remains airy.
  8. Sift the flour and baking powder over a large bowl and mix with half of the sesame seeds, the cardamom and vanilla sugar.
  9. Spatula the flour mixture in portions through the butter mixture.
  10. Pour the batter into the baking tin. Fry the cake in the oven for about 35 minutes until golden brown and done.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes in the baking tin.
  12. Pour the cake on a large dish and let it cool for another 45 minutes.
  13. Clean the lime.
  14. Grate the green skin of the freshly cooked lime and squeeze out the fruit.
  15. Mix the juice with the butter, cream cheese and icing sugar smooth with the mixer.
  16. Brush the cake with a spatula with the glaze.
  17. Sprinkle the glaze with lime zest and the rest of the sesame seed.
  18. Put the cake in the fridge for at least 1 hour to allow the glaze to set.
