Ingredients
Directions
-
Heat two spoonfuls of olive oil in a pan with a thick bottom.
-
Add half of the onion and half of the garlic and cook on soft heat for four minutes until they become softer and smell nice.
-
Take care that they do not turn brown.
-
In the meantime, cut the tomatoes into pieces and add them with the thyme and the oregano to the onion mixture.
-
Bake for two minutes and stir regularly.
-
Then put the lid on the pan and let the tomatoes simmer gently in a quarter of an hour until they are soft and release their moisture.
-
Put the hand blender into the pan and puree everything into a nice smooth sauce.
-
Let it boil for a maximum of ten minutes if necessary until the thickness is good.
-
When the sauce is very sour, add a teaspoon of sugar.
-
Heat the rest of the olive oil in a frying pan and gently fry the remaining onion and garlic in three minutes.
-
Stir in the red pepper and paprika powder and fry briefly.
-
Scoop the stir-on prawns through the onion mixture and let them thaw in the scoop.
-
Then turn the heat higher and fry the shrimp until they start to color.
-
Stir in the newly made tomato sauce and let the shrimp with tomato sauce simmer for another four minutes.
-
Serve the prawns with rice or bread.
