Clean half of the limes well and grate the green skin thinly. Squeeze out this lime. Cut the rest of the limes into thin segments.

Cut the avocado half in half. Remove the kernel and scoop out the flesh with a spoon from the peel. Cut the flesh into small cubes.

Mix in a bowl the crème fraîche with the cumin and season with the grated lime zest, lime juice, salt and chili pepper.

Keep the salsa, if necessary, in a cool place.

Spread the salmon slices on the large plates. Spoon a large spoonful of the salsa in the middle.

Tear the basil into pieces. Sprinkle the basil over it and drizzle the olive oil over the plates. Garnish with the wedges of lime.
