A tasty recipe. The vegetarian appetizer contains the following ingredients: dark chocolate, self-rising flour, butter, grated coconut (6 tablespoons), brown caster sugar and milk.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ºC or gas oven 3. Place the piece of baking paper of approx. 40 cm ready on the baking sheet. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Making dough is done like this ... You put baking flour, butter and 4 tablespoons of coconut in a bowl. Sift the caster sugar above it. And then: not with knife and fork, but with two knives you cut the butter into small pieces as small as peas. Stir in the milk and knead the dough into a firm ball. Knead also quickly, quickly (otherwise they melt) the pieces of chocolate through.
  3. Make 15 small dough balls. Sprinkle the rest of the coconut on a plate or a board and roll the dough balls through it. Press them flat on the baking tray. Leave a lot of space between the cookies (they grow during baking!).
  4. Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven until brown, in 20 minutes. Remove them from the baking tray with a pancake knife or cheese slicer. Cool down on a grid and: you can hand out (but first of all taste it yourself).
