Sorbet ice of blood orange


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: blood orange, blood orange juice, white caster sugar, powdered sugar and fresh basil (in strips).

Directions

  1. Chop orange 1 tbsp zest (keep orange).
  2. Fry 100 ml of orange juice, sugar and orange zest while stirring until sugar is dissolved (do not boil).
  3. Stir in the remaining orange juice.
  4. Allow mixture to cool and pour into freezer.
  5. Put the box in freezer for 2 hours.
  6. Remove from freezer and loosen mixture with fork.
  7. Put the box back into freezer for 1 hour, then loosen it again with fork and let it freeze for another hour.
  8. Thinly peel the orange to flesh.
  9. Cut out orange slices with a sharp knife between white fleece.
  10. Sprinkle orange slices with icing sugar, spread on the plate and put in freezer for 30 minutes.
  11. Sorbet ice gets good structure after 4-5 hours.
  12. Divide ice into coarse curls over four sections.
  13. Garnish with frozen orange slices and basil..
