Spaghetti with bacon and mushrooms in cream sauce

Fry the bacon cubes in a frying pan. Remove them from the pan in a bowl.

Bake the slices of mushrooms in the remaining bacon fat in a few minutes until crispy and lightly browned. Stir in the garlic slices while baking.

Cook the spaghetti in lightly salted water according to the instructions on the package al dente. Let the pasta drain.

Pour the cream into the mushrooms and add the bacon cubes. Heat this sauce and season with pepper.

Spoon the spaghetti in a bowl and stir in mushrooms, bacon and cream sauce. Sprinkle with oregano.

Divide the spaghetti over plates. Serve the cheese separately in a bowl.
