Spaghetti with crispy bacon and pesto
Bring plenty of water to the boil in a pan. Cut the slices of bacon into strips and fry them in a dry frying pan until they are crispy.
Meanwhile grind the garlic, pine nuts, basil and oil into a fine pesto with a hand blender or food processor. Scoop the cheese through and season with salt and pepper.
Cook the spaghetti al dente. Stir in a scoop of pesto and serve with some crispy bacon.
