Heat a pan and add the pepper mixture and cane sugar. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Allow to cool and puree with a hand blender into a sauce. Rub the sauce through a fine sieve.

Fill a clean jar or bottle with the sauce and store in the refrigerator.
