Directions

  1. Cut the apricots into thin strips. Drain the moisture from the sauerkraut. Bring the sauerkraut in a pan with the apricot, bay leaf, apple juice, water, cloves and cumin.
  2. Let simmer for 30 minutes on low heat with the lid on. Drain and remove the cloves and bay leaves, keep warm in the pan.
  3. In the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the sausages in 5 to 8 minutes.
  4. Serve the sausages on the sauerkraut. Delicious with potato pancakes.
