Ingredients
Directions
-
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the mushrooms on a high heat brown and let the moisture evaporate. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
-
Crumble the slices of bread (with crust) into the food processor. Add the beans and tomato paste and puree everything into a thick paste. Mix the egg with 2 tsp salt, and to taste tabasco by the puree.
-
Spoon the puree into a bowl and spatula the mushrooms, onion, celery and thyme into the bean mixture and form 4 large or 8 small burgers.
-
Heat the rest of the olive oil in a frying pan with non-stick coating and fry the burgers over medium-high heat in about 5 min. Brown and done. Turn them carefully with a spatula. Tasty with (homemade) ketchup, fries and a mixed salad.
