Sprouts with bacon and almonds
Side dish of bacon strips, onion, sprouts, whipped cream and almonds.

Heat a frying pan without oil or butter and fry the bacon strips on a medium-high heat until crispy.

Peel the onion and cut into thin rings. Cut the underside of the sprouts and remove the outer leaves if necessary.

Halve the sprouts and place them on the cutting edge in a single layer in a skillet. Add the butter and let the sprouts on low heat very light colors.

Add the onion rings and cook for another 10 minutes until the sprouts are tender and the onions are translucent.

Add the cream and then the almonds. No salt is needed, because the bacon is already salty. Heat briefly and serve.
