Clean the sprouts.

Cut the peel thick of the orange and cut the wedges between the membranes.

Collect the sprouting juice.

Peel the shallots and halve the large shallots.

Cut the shoots of the sprouts.

Heat the olive oil in a pan and stir in the shallots.

Add the orange juice and smother the shallots with the lid on the pan gently for 8 to 10 minutes.

Boil the sprouts in a pan with plenty of boiling water with a little salt in 8 to 10 minutes.

Drain the sprouts and transfer them to a bowl.
