Cut the steak per person into 5 pieces. Cut each onion into 8 parts. Squeeze the cloves of garlic over a bowl and stir in ras el hanout, tomato paste, lemon juice, salt and freshly ground black pepper and olive oil. Spoon half of the marinade into a bowl. Spoon the blocks of steak through the marinade in the large bowl and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
