Directions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the onion and paprika for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the cream, thyme and salt and pepper and cook gently for 5 minutes. Puree this sauce.
  3. Heat the rest of the olive oil and the butter and fry the steak, sprinkled with salt and pepper, golden brown in 2-3 minutes per side (depending on the desired doneness).
  4. Serve the sauce with the steak.
