Steamed cabbage rolls

A tasty recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, cabbage, Parma ham, sunflower oil, garlic (minced) and chili pepper from the mill.

Directions

  1. Bring water to the boil in the pan. Cut the thick stump from the cabbages and loosen the leaves. Place the leaves (possibly in parts) in the steam basket and hang them above the boiling water. Steam the leaves, covered, for about 3 minutes until they are supple.
  2. Slice the parma ham very finely. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the parma ham very gently. Add the garlic and to taste chili pepper and fry everything for another 2 minutes, very softly.
  3. Let the leaves drain on a clean tea towel. Spread 8 leaves, brush them thinly with the fragrant oil with pieces of ham. Put a leaf of pointed cabbage on top of this and also cover it with the oil. Fold the sides slightly inwards and roll the leaves loosely into packages. Put this in the steam basket.
  4. Bring the water back to the boil, hang the steam basket above and put the lid on. Steam the cabbage rolls for another 5 minutes.
