Steamed mussels with mustard sauce
A delicious scandinavian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, mayonnaise (with yoghurt), sour cream, coarse mustard, sugar, mussels (rinsed), olive oil, garlic (chopped), leeks (in thin rings), onion (in parts), dry white wine, fresh thyme (15 g), flat parsley ((20 g) and chopped leaf).

Mix the mayonnaise with the sour cream, the mustard and the sugar into a smooth sauce. Add pepper and salt to taste.

Check the mussels according to the instructions on the package. Remove any damaged or exposed shells. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan and fry the garlic for 3 minutes. Add the mussels, leeks, onion, white wine, thyme and pepper and salt to taste.

Cover everything well, put the lid on the pan and steam the mussels in a low heat for 5-8 minutes. Add the parsley for the last minute. Remove the closed shells. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Tasty with fresh baguette and the mustard sauce.
