Stew of kale with smoked sausage

Pour a layer of water of approx. 4 cm into a pan. Add the potatoes with a little salt and bring to the boil.

Once the potatoes are boiled, put the kale and smoked sausage on top. Turn down the heat and cook the potatoes and vegetables - with the lid on the on pan - for about 15-20 minutes. Prick the potatoes to feel as if they are soft.

Meanwhile, bake the bacon cubes in a dry frying pan.

Drain the cooking liquid. Mash the potatoes and kale with a pestle. Stir in the butter and make the stew a little smoother with the warm milk.

Spoon the bacon cubes and season the stew with salt and pepper and a dash of vinegar. Serve the stew with the smoked sausage.
