Preheat the oven to 220ºC.

Cut strips of the puff pastry and attach a bar of dough at the top of the pear through the end to fold the stalk. Go diagonally down in a circle and end at the bottom of the pear.

Bake the pears in the oven for about 10 minutes until the dough is golden brown and crispy. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate au bain-marie.

Serve the pears lukewarm and sprinkle with the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with the pecans.
