Nice recipe for a variety of spice nuts; with a touch of vanilla

Sift the flour over a bowl. Halve the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the marrow with a knife tip. Mix the marrow together with a pinch of salt through the flour.

Add the syrup and butter and knead into a cohesive dough ball. Pack with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces and form 4 rolls of 1 cm thick. Cut the rolls into pieces of 1 cm and roll each piece into a ball.

Place the balls on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, press lightly and bake for approx. 12 minutes in the oven. Allow to cool completely from the oven.
