Stew with bratwurst, mustard and apple


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, oil, sausages, onion (minced meat), mushrooms (halved), goldreinet apple (in pieces), crumbly potatoes (in pieces), crème fraîche and coarse Zaanse mustard.

Directions

  1. Heat oil in frying pan and bratwurst around brown bowls.
  2. Take bratwurst out of the pan.
  3. Bake for 3 minutes in shortening.
  4. Add mushrooms and fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Add apple, 100 ml water and 1 tsp salt and bring to the boil.
  6. Bratwurst back into pan and whisk with lid on pan in 20 min.
  7. In the meantime, cook the potatoes in 20 minutes, drain and dry.
  8. Remove the bratwurst from the pan and keep it warm.
  9. Crème fraîche and mustard by stirring stew.
  10. Rinse the bowl on a high heat, without a lid, for 5 minutes.
  11. Bring sausages over four plates.
  12. Place potatoes next to it and add sauce..
