Stewed chicken with garden peas and carrots
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, potatoes (pommes culinary (bag a 1 1/2 kg), halved), chicken drumsticks (about 575 g), margarine, onions (in parts), garlic (coarsely cut), tomato cubes ( 400 g), garden peas (with carrots (pack a 1 kg, frozen)), fresh parsley (leaf (15 g) and chopped leaf).

Boil the potatoes in little water with a little salt until 25 minutes.

Rub the chicken drumsticks with salt and pepper. Heat the margarine in a frying pan, put the chicken drumsticks in with the onion and garlic and fry the chicken around brown in 10 minutes. Add the tomato cubes, garden peas and carrots and 150 ml (hot) water, place the lid on the pan and simmer for another 15 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the parsley. Serve the stew with the potatoes.
