Directions

  1. Take 4 whole leaves of the red cabbage, wash them and keep separate. Cut or scrape the rest of the coals into narrow strips.
  2. Heat the butter and fry the onion 2-3 minutes. Add the raisins, cabbage strips, vinegar, berry juice and sugar.
  3. Put the cloves in the bay leaves and add them. Bring everything to the boil and then cover for 30-40 minutes at a low setting until the coal is soft.
  4. Occasionally well. Add some extra water if necessary.
  5. Remove the bay leaves with the cloves and serve the stewed cabbage in the cabbage leaves.
