Mix the tomato paste, honey, tabasco, ginger root, balsamic vinegar, oil and salt. Brush the bacon strips with this mixture.

Heat a grill pan, frying pan with non-stick coating or the oven grill and grill the bacon strips for about 6 minutes per side. Turn them regularly.
