Stir-fried celeriac with bacon, cinnamon and raisins

Directions

  1. Heat the oil and fry the onion for about 5 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle the bacon strips with salt and pepper. Add the bacon to the onions and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  3. Add the celeriac and cinnamon and stir fry for a few minutes until everything is light brown.
  4. Add the raisins, syrup and a little water and simmer the celeriac with the lid on the pan for about 20 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with the parsley. Delicious with white rice.
