A delicious French recipe for a strawberry bavarois with chocolate strawberries.

Directions

  1. Clean 250 grams of strawberries.
  2. Keep the remaining strawberries separate.
  3. Soak the gelatine sheets (10 grams) in water.
  4. Puree the cleaned strawberries.
  5. Heat 1 tablespoon of water in a saucepan and dissolve the squeezed gelatine leaves. Stir this mixture through the mashed strawberries.
  6. Beat the cream with the sugar until stiff. Fold the whipped cream through the strawberries.
  7. Beat the egg white stiffly in a fat-free bowl and spat through the strawberry mixture. Spoon this mixture into the round pudding mold that has been rinsed with cold water.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and let the bavarois stiffen in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.
  9. Heat the chocolate au bain-marie.
  10. Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and put them on a sheet of baking paper. Let the chocolate become hard.
  11. Remove the bavarois from the mold. First, loosen the edges.
  12. Place a flat dish upside down on the shape and turn shape with scale. If necessary, dip the bavarois for a short time in warm water.
  13. Garnish with the chocolate strawberries.
