Remove the crowns of the strawberries and halve in length. Cut the vanilla pod open lengthwise and scrape out the marrow with a knife tip.

Stir in the marrow and the icing sugar. Crumble the muffins and spread over the bottom of the jam jars.

Divide the curd cheese and strawberries over the jars. Garnish with powdered sugar.
