A festive English dessert with strawberry, mascarpone, long fingers and Italian cookies.
Beat the cream with the sugar in a bowl stiff. Mix the mascarpone with the whipped cream.
Stir in the strawberry jam and scoop it through the cream mixture. Do not smooth.
Wash the strawberries and clean them. Cut half of the strawberries into slices and halve the other half.
Place the long fingers on the bottom of the dish and sprinkle them lightly with the orange liqueur. Divide ⅓ of the cream mixture over the long fingers.
Divide the slices of strawberry and half of the remaining cream mixture.
Chop the cantuccini coarsely and sprinkle the crumb over it. Divide the remainder of the cream mixture over the cantuccini.
Garnish with half the strawberries and sprinkle with the icing sugar. Put in the refrigerator until use. Yummy! .
