Strawberry sorbet with basil
A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: sweetener in powder form, basil (bag of 15 g), strawberries and balsamic vinegar.

Dissolve the sweetener powder in 100 ml of boiling water.

Cut 2 leaves of basil into wafer-thin strips.

Wash the strawberries, remove the crowns and puree the strawberries in the food processor or with the hand blender (keep some nice strawberries aside to garnish).

Stir in the sugar syrup, the balsamic vinegar and the chopped basil through the mashed strawberries and transfer to a deep freezer.

Freeze the strawberry puree in the freezer in about 4 hours.

Spoon the strawberry puree every hour with a fork and scrape the ice crystals from the sides.

Serve the ice cream with the hidden strawberries and a leaf of basil..
