Surinamese curry chicken drumsticks with onion, tomatoes and potatoes.

Cross the tomatoes on top and immerse them for 1 min in boiling water.

Rinse them under cold running water and remove the sheets. Cut the flesh into cubes.

Chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Peel the potatoes and cut into pieces.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken drumsticks around brown. If they do not fit in 1 pan, roast in 2 parts or in 2 pans at the same time.

Add the onion, garlic and tomato and cook for 1 minute.

Stir the Surinamese curry through hot water and pour it into the pan.

Add the potatoes and simmer for 35-40 minutes until the chicken and the potatoes are done.

Stir in the soy sauce marinade and season with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle the celeriac over it and serve with the side dishes.
