A nice Surinamese recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: sunflower oil, onion (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), hot curry powder, garden peas (extra fine (pack 450 g, frozen), frozen) and sambal badjak.

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok.
  2. Fry the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the curry powder and cook for 1 min.
  4. Raise the heat and add the frozen garden peas.
  5. Stir fry for 5 more minutes.
  6. Add the sambal and scoop.
  7. Serve immediately..
