Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Roast half of the almonds in a dry frying pan golden brown and let it cool down on a plate.
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs with 175 g of sugar to a creamy and light mixture.
  4. Melt the butter.
  5. Fold the flour with a pinch of salt, the melted butter and the roasted almonds.
  6. Spoon the batter into the mold and smooth the top.
  7. Bake the cake bottom in the oven in 20-25 minutes until tender and golden brown. Let the cake base cool down in the mold.
  8. Roast the last almond shavings in a dry frying pan until golden brown.
  9. Remove the pan from the heat and scoop two tablespoons of sugar through the warm almonds.
  10. Let the sugar melt all the while until all the almonds are covered with a thin layer of melted sugar.
  11. Spread the almonds on a piece of baking paper and allow them to cool.
  12. In a bowl, beat the fresh cream cheese with the rest of the sugar lightly.
