Swedish meatballs in lemon sauce


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, lemons (scrubbed) and garlic.

Directions

  1. Grate the yellow skin thinly from the lemon and squeeze out the fruit. Drop some lemon juice over the meatballs.
  2. Heat the butter in the frying pan over a fairly high heat until the foam dries.
  3. Place the meatballs in the pan and fry them around brown. Turn them a bit with the help of a spatula until they are completely brown all around.
  4. Pour 50-100 ml of water into the pan and add the grated lemon peel and press the garlic above it. Bring this to a boil.
  5. Place the lid on the pan. Lower the heat and simmer the meatballs for about 10 minutes. Shake the pan in between.
  6. Stir in lemon juice with the shortening and let it fizz. Pour the cream into the pan and bring the sauce to the boil.
  7. Finely chop the chives and parsley. Season the meatballs with pepper and salt. Sprinkle the chives and parsley over it.
  8. Delicious with spaghetti and stewed spinach.
