Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
-
Cut the sheets in four so that you have a total of 24 small squares.
-
Stir the custard powder with the sugar and 4 tablespoons of the milk into a paste.
-
Pour the rest of the milk in a pan and place it on a low heat.
-
Add the custard paste as the milk begins to warm up and stir with the whisk until smooth.
-
Turn off the heat as soon as the mixture starts to take the form of pudding.
-
Spoon a spoon of pudding in the middle of the puff pastry squares and put half an apricot with the convex side up.
-
Fold the corners upwards and fold them a bit over the apricot.
-
Squeeze the tips together so that the puff pastry takes the shape of a crown.
-
Beat the eggs and brush the puff pastry snacks.
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the snacks in the oven for about 20 minutes.
-
Then let them cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
