Preheat the oven to 200 ºC.

Peel the potatoes and cut them lengthwise into thick fries. Divide them over a griddle covered with parchment paper.

Slice the garlic. Mix with the oil and sprinkle the fries with it.

Sprinkle the fries with the sesame seeds and salt and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes until golden brown and done.

Turn the fries after 25 minutes and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.

Puree the cheese with the sour cream and buttermilk. Season with pepper.

Serve the chips with the dip.
