Meatballs with ricotta and pine nuts


A tasty Italian recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, minced beef, ricotta (cheese), fresh basil ((15 g), finely chopped), pine nuts, olive oil and tomato tapenade.

Directions

  1. Mix the mince with the ricotta and the chopped basil.
  2. Season with (a lot of) salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  3. Knead the ricotta mixture well and form 18 small balls with moist hands.
  4. Place the pine nuts on a large plate and roll the meatballs through it.
  5. Press them well.
  6. Fry the meatballs in the oil on medium heat for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve them with the tomato tapenade..
