Directions

  1. Heat the oil and fry the bacon and onion at medium height in about 5 minutes until light brown.
  2. Add the tomato paste and the tomato cubes and cook for a further 5 minutes at low speed until the sauce starts to bind.
  3. Bring the sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. In the meantime, cook the tagliatelle in plenty of salted water in accordance with the instructions on the packaging.
  5. Drain and scoop together with the basil.
