  9. Form a ball and let it rest for at least 1 hour in plastic foil in the fridge. After 1 hour remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out on a floured table. Line the mold with two-thirds of the dough. The dough may hang slightly over the edge.
  10. Sprinkle a thin layer of oatmeal over the dough piece.
  11. Spoon the apples again so they are well covered with sugar and then divide the apple quarters with the convex side up over the dough.

  13. Cut off the retained dough bars with which you cover half of the apples in a diamond pattern.
  14. Sprinkle the other half of the apple pie generously with pumpkin seeds.
  15. Place the cake in the hot oven, slightly underneath. Bake the cake in a 200 ° C oven for 50 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  16. In the meantime, heat the orange jam with 1 tbsp of hot water in a pan. The jam becomes slightly liquid. Divide this over the cake with a brush.
  17. Only when the cake has completely cooled down can you remove it from its shape.
