Heat the butter in a (frying) pan. Fry the leeks for 2 minutes in the pan. Stir in the sifted tomatoes and the stock.

Bring the soup to the boil. Let the soup cook for about 5 minutes on a low heat. Season it with the tabasco and salt.

Cut the smoked salmon fillet into strips, stir in the soup and leave to heat for 1 min. Spoon the soup in the soup bowls.
