Tomato-sardine oven dish

A nice Mediterranean recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, peeled tomatoes (a 400 g), onion (in rings), fresh thyme, olive oil, garlic (pressed), sardine fillets (a 120 g), olives (filled with anchovies (200 g), drained) and flat parsley.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Let the tomatoes drain, halve them and spread them over the oven dish. Put the onion rings on the tomatoes. Ris the leaves of the sprigs of thyme and sprinkle over the onion. Mix the oil with the garlic, add pepper and salt to taste and sprinkle over the tomatoes, onion and thyme. Place the dish in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, drain the sardines and remove any bones. Remove the dish from the oven and place the sardines between the tomatoes. Divide the olives over it. Put the dish in the oven for 10 minutes.
  3. Slice the leaves of parsley and sprinkle over the sardines. Delicious with baked potato slices and a fresh salad of oak leaf lettuce melange.
