Tomato soup with toasted sandwiches
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, olive oil, onion (coarsely chopped), garlic (chopped), celery (diced), carrot (diced), sieved tomatoes (500 g), tomatoes (in pieces), tomato broth (from tablets) ) and ground beef.

Heat the olive oil in a soup pan and fry the onion, garlic, celery and carrot for 4-5 minutes on a low heat.

Stir frequently.

Add the sifted tomatoes, tomato pieces and tomato broth.

Bring everything to the boil while stirring.

In the meantime, mix the minced meat with salt and (freshly ground) pepper and form small balls.

Add the balls to the soup and cook gently for 15-20 minutes.

Season the tomato soup with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Put the soup in bowls and put it on plates..
