Homemade fried chicken with a marinade of buttermilk, onion, garlic, sugar and pepper.

Add the buttermilk, onion, garlic, sugar, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt to the bar mixer and puree into a marinade.

Cut the chicken dumplings into 3 pieces each and divide the marinade over it.

Cover and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to 1 night.

Mix together the rest of the salt, the flour, garlic powder, the rest of the pepper and the paprika.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and drain in a colander on a plate. Roll the chicken through the flour mixture.

Divide the chicken over a large flat plate, making sure that the pieces do not overlap.

Leave to dry for 1 hour in the refrigerator. This will give you a better crust.

Heat the oil to 170 ° C and deep-fry the chicken in parts for approx. 8-10 minutes.
