Japanese tori teriyaki: chicken fillet in soy sauce with ginger and sesame seeds.

Peel and grate the ginger and cut the chicken fillet into pieces. Cut the spring onion into small rings.

Bring the sherry to the boil, let it simmer for a while until the alcohol has evaporated.

Add the soy sauce and sugar and let the teriyaki sauce boil until it becomes a little syrupy.

Heat the oil in a wok. Stir fry the chicken meat in 6-8 min. Until done.

Pour in the teriyaki sauce and let it evaporate on high heat until the sauce thickens and shines. Then stir in the ginger.

Cut the spring onion into rings and sprinkle the dish with the sesame seeds and the spring onions.
