Tuscan bread pie
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil and stir fry the pepper strips, stir-fry vegetables, 1 tablespoon of Italian herbs, salt and pepper 3-4 minutes. Stew with the lid on the pan for about 5 minutes.
Cut the slices of bread diagonally and brush them on one side with pasta sauce. grease the cake pan or cover it with baking paper. Lay the slices with the sauce in a pie-shaped circle. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the cheese and spread the vegetables over it.
Beat the eggs with the cream, salt and pepper. Pour this mixture over the vegetables and sprinkle with half of the remaining cheese. Bake the cake in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Halve the tomatoes and put them side by side in a low oven dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, the rest of the Italian herbs and the rest of the grated cheese.
Drizzle with the rest of the olive oil and put the tomatoes in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Cut the cake into points and serve with the puffed tomatoes.
