Two-color mousse


A tasty recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: cherries (in syrup (350 g)), gelatine, sugar, dark chocolate (in pieces), whole milk, whipped cream (250 ml) and almond shavings (bowl 55 g).

Directions

  1. Let the cherries soak well above a bowl in a sieve.
  2. Soak the gelatin in cold water for 3 minutes.
  3. Squeeze the gelatine sheets and dissolve them in low heat in 3 cups of cherry juice.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool down.
  5. Puree the cherries with half the sugar and stir in the gelatin mixture.
  6. Allow 100 g of chocolate to melt in the milk on low heat.
  7. Allow to cool slightly.
  8. Beat the whipped cream with the rest of the sugar until stiff.
  9. Spoon half the whipped cream through the chocolate milk.
  10. Divide the chocolate mousse over 4 glasses and smooth the tops.
  11. Scoop the pureed cherries through the rest of the whipped cream.
  12. Pour the cherry mousse onto the chocolate mousse.
  13. Allow the whole to set in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  14. Roast the almonds in a dry frying pan until golden brown.
  15. Melt the rest of the chocolate, pour it on a piece of baking paper and spatulate into a rectangle of 2 mm thickness.
  16. Sprinkle the almond shavings over them and let them harden in the refrigerator.
  17. Remove the mousse from the refrigerator for 10 minutes before serving.
  18. Cut the chocolate slice into pieces and put it in the mousse..
