Put the condensed milk, butter and caster sugar in a non-stick pan.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat with a spatula until the mixture bubbles well.

Cook for another 3 minutes and keep stirring, that's very important.

Line the baking tin or baking dish with baking paper.

Remove the pan from the heat and leave for 5 minutes. Add the dye and stir the mixture for another 7 minutes. It is getting fatter.
