Roast the pine nuts in a dry, hot frying pan until light brown.

Mix them with the olives, dried tomatoes, pepper and thyme through the cream cheese.

If the mass is too stiff, mix olive oil.

Put the slices of bread next to each other on a shelf. Brush two slices with the cheese mixture.

Place slices of tomato with freshly ground pepper and leaves of lettuce. Cover these piles with the un-smeared slices.

Cut the sandwiches diagonally or in four and wrap them tightly in plastic foil.
